This is a one of a kind fine silver pendant handmade using a real fern leaf. I designed these pieces after being inspired by some fossil samples in the Museum of Manchester. The fern imprint is unique to each piece, making this a one of a kind preservation of nature, just like a fossil.

Ferns have been symbol of everlasting life as they can multiply without seeds and this seemed pretty magical before we knew all about spores. These are some of the first fine silver pieces we have made using a new technique, they might not be perfect but we love how they came out. Yours will differ slightly from the piece pictured. Part of the joy of it really, it's the beauty of working with real foliage and a nice little surprise when you receive it.

The tiny pendant itself measures just 12mm in diameter and comes on a 16 inch sterling silver figaro chain.
