These sterling silver necklaces are handmade using a real fern leaf. The leaf imprint is unique to each piece, just like a fossil this is a one of a kind preservation of nature.
Ferns have been symbol of everlasting life as they can multiply without seeds and this seemed pretty magical before we knew all about spores. These are the first fully sterling silver pieces we have made using a new technique, they might not be perfect but we love how they came out.
The tiny pendant itself measures just 12mm in diameter and comes on a 16 inch dainty figaro sterling silver chain. Each necklace comes with it's own certificate of authenticity and is limited to a run of just 10 in this style. Please note that each piece will differ in appearance slightly and that's just the beauty of working with real foliage.
